Drop images here

Four steps. No source connection needed.

Skip the OAuth flow. Upload directly from your desktop or from a Claude conversation.

Drag & drop

Drop images from your desktop onto the upload zone — or click to browse. Supports JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and TIFF.

Pick destinations

Select one, many, or a group. WordPress, Shopify, HubSpot, Contentful, Webflow, or any Custom HTTP endpoint.

Add alt text

Optional pre-sync modal lets you describe each image. Skip it and Syncific derives alt text from the filename.

Compress & push

Browser-side AVIF/WebP compression. Pushed directly to destinations. Nothing stored on Syncific servers.

Same filename = same URL

Upload hero-banner.jpg today. Upload a new version next week. Syncific replaces the file at every destination — same URL, no broken references.

// First upload
upload hero-banner.jpg → WordPress
✓ Created attachment #412 · https://site.com/hero-banner.avif
// One week later — new version, same filename
upload hero-banner.jpg → WordPress
✓ Updated attachment #412 in place · Same URL preserved

Why Direct Upload matters

Update in place

Re-upload hero-banner.jpg and it replaces the existing file at every destination. Same URL, same references, new content. No orphaned files, no broken pages.

Zero server storage

Images compress in your browser and push directly to your CMS. Syncific never stores your files — only the sync map entry persists.

Claude AI native

Share any image in a Claude conversation and push it to your CMS in one message. Claude handles compression, alt text, and destination selection.

Browser compression

Web Worker pool compresses images in parallel on your CPU. AVIF and WebP output. Typical savings: 60–80% smaller files. Zero compute cost on Syncific.

Bulk upload

Drop 50 images at once. Select all, pick destinations, push. Each image gets its own sync map entry and update-in-place tracking.

No source required

Works without connecting Lightroom, Canva, or any cloud source. Perfect for screenshots, client deliverables, event photos, and one-off assets.

The only drag-and-drop that goes directly to your CMS

Other platforms upload to their own storage first. Syncific skips the middleman.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to connect a source to use Direct Upload? +

No. Direct Upload works independently of any source connection. Drag and drop images from your desktop, or share them with Claude in a conversation. No Lightroom, Canva, or Dropbox account required.

What happens when I upload a file with the same name twice? +

Syncific updates the existing image in place. Same URL, same attachment ID, no duplicates. Your pages keep working with no broken references — the content just gets replaced with the new version.

Where does the compression happen? +

Entirely in your browser. Syncific uses a Web Worker pool to compress images to AVIF or WebP on your CPU before uploading. Nothing is stored on Syncific's servers — the compressed blob is pushed directly to your destination and discarded.

What's the maximum file size? +

25MB per file. Images are typically compressed to 60–80% smaller before upload, so a 20MB JPEG might arrive at your CMS as a 4MB AVIF.

Can I upload to multiple destinations at once? +

Yes. Select any combination of individual destinations or destination groups before uploading. Each destination receives its own optimized copy.

Does Direct Upload work with Claude via MCP? +

Yes. Share an image in any Claude conversation and say 'Push this to my WordPress site.' Claude calls the upload_local tool, compresses the image, and delivers it with alt text to your CMS — all in one message.

Is alt text supported? +

Yes. Before uploading, a modal lets you add alt text per image. If you skip it, Syncific generates basic alt text from the filename. Through Claude, you can describe the image and Claude sets the alt text for you.

Does this count against my monthly usage? +

Yes. Each uploaded image counts as one sync, same as any other source.

Can my clients upload without a Syncific account? +

Yes. Create a Client Upload link from your dashboard. Your client gets a clean branded page where they can drag and drop images — no login, no account, no Syncific knowledge needed. Files go directly to the destinations you selected when creating the link.

Is the client upload link secure? +

Yes. Links are write-only (clients can't see or delete anything), rate-limited (5 uploads/minute), file-capped, and auto-expire. You can add a password and revoke any link instantly.
